Spring Fling Thanks
Spring Fling is a huge event, with over 300 people typically attending. It was another big sucess this year, incorporating the Durham Community Concert Band, the dunking booth, lunch, and activities all over Spring Glen's grounds. An event of this size takes a lot of work to get off the ground, and we have many people to thank for this, including:
- Anne Oakes, Debbie Klein, and Nick Popowycz for their good nature and bravery in entering the chilly water of the dunking booth.
- Damian Hoffman, Brandon Kaput, and Bobby for getting the tents set up and organized.
- Casey Bowen and Jessica Pressley for getting the Weiss Activity Center looking great and set up for Spring Fling.
- Theresa and Justine for tending to all of the little things and for their hard work and dedication through every part of the day.
- Christopher Keller for trying out the multi-sensory room.
- Liz Tucker, Beth Lambert, and Nick Popowycz for grilling the burgers and hot dogs.
- Evelyn Greene for taking pictures
- Everyone who helped with set up and clean up.
And everyone else that helped (many of whom we are certainly forgetting), THANK YOU!!

Mop Check
How clean is your mop? Be sure that mops have been well-rinsed and are clean before you start using them, or you'll just be spreading more dirt around on the floor you're trying to clean! To clean a floor, sweep it first, then mop using clean, cold water and a clean mop. Finally, rinse the mop thoroughly before putting it back. Thanks for helping keep our floors clean!

Nate continually spends his own time looking for activities to keep the residents actively involved in the community and getting to events they would enjoy. His efforts really stand out and the residents really appreciate it! - Nick Popowycz
